Let me introduce another featured Nimanoma stockist - Maisie & Mac, a contemporary art and craft gallery that can be found in the lovely historic market town of Cupar in Fife and is owned by Alison Strachan.

The gallery features the work of over 60 artists and designer-makers from all over the UK, from Orkney to Guernsey, and lots of places in between! It stocks paintings, prints, jewellery, ceramics, textiles and work in wood, metal, slate and glass.

The aim is to mostly feature products which are not available elsewhere locally and to provide customers with interesting and well made beautiful things.

While the gallery features the work of some local makers and visitors to the area like to purchase work made locally, a decision was made to source widely in the interests of providing local inhabitants, and workers in the town, with something different for themselves, their homes, or as a gift.  In fact, customers often remark, 'It’s just great to see so many ‘different’ things – not the usual stuff’.

Alison has travelled far and wide to source products rather than only using the obvious trade fairs or relying on artists and makers approaching the gallery. She says it is hard work, but great to be able to put your own ideas into practice and to be your own boss. It’s great to work in an environment where you look at beautifully made things all day and where customers are so enthusiastic about your business!
If you want to visit Maisie and Mac they are to be found at 1-3 St Catherine St, Cupar, Fife, KY15 4LS or you can find out more on their website or facebook page.
